About Around The Lock
Around The Lock is a locksmith business run by Daniel Izhak, who has worked the trade in South Florida for seven years. We are bonded and insured, BBB A+ accredited, and rated 5.0 across 59 Google reviews. Homes, cars, and businesses across Broward County, 24 hours a day, with upfront pricing you approve before we start.
The person behind the business
Around The Lock is owned by Daniel Izhak, who has worked the trade in South Florida for seven years. He runs the business, trains the techs, and works jobs himself. On a busy day one of our own techs may come out instead, and either way it is someone from this company, trained the same way and held to the same standard. You will know who is coming and what it costs before we start. Every job written up on this site is one Daniel worked personally.
What we actually do
Automotive, residential, and commercial, which is a wider range than most locksmiths carry. Car keys cut and programmed on-site, including push-to-start smart keys and all-keys-lost jobs. Lock changes, rekeys, and smart locks for homes. Commercial hardware, master key systems, panic devices, access control, and safes for businesses. We carry the tools and the stock for all three in the van, which is why we can usually finish a job in one visit instead of coming back.
How we price
Upfront pricing, and you approve it before we start. No quote over the phone that changes when we arrive. If a smaller fix will solve your problem we will tell you, even when the bigger job pays more. That is how the reviews got to 5.0.
Bonded and insured, and what that means here
Florida does not license locksmiths. The state preempted local licensing in 2025, so there is no state license to hold. What shows a business is real is being bonded and insured, being accredited, and having genuine reviews from local customers. We are bonded and insured, BBB A+ accredited, and have been serving Broward since 2021.
Genuinely 24 hours
Not an answering service. Nights, weekends, and holidays, a local tech comes to you. A lockout at 2am is not a business-hours problem and we do not treat it like one.
